Christmas is truly the most wonderful time of the year. When I first started The Christmas City Gift Show, I never imagined it would become one of the biggest events in the South. But amazing things happen when you create something out of passion and love. It’s like a snowball effect; your hard work and vision grow into something amazing.

Unfortunately, many people today lack the passion and drive to pursue their dreams. They seem to have lost their sense of wonder and excitement. They may have achieved success but haven’t pursued the life they truly wanted. When I talk to them, fear is the main reason holding them back. Fear of failure, the unknown, and what others think. I had these fears too, but I had a bigger fear of doing nothing, of living with regrets and wondering, “What if?” So I pursued my dreams.

It wasn’t easy, but it was exhilarating. Seeing an idea or vision become a reality that others can experience is truly surreal. I could never have imagined where my life would take me. I refused to be ruled by fear.

My desire to succeed was greater than the fear of failure. I was to pursue my dreams, even if it meant being broke. I believe that God gives us talents and abilities to discover our purpose and become our destiny.

What about you? What would you do if you could do anything? I hope I have inspired and motivated you to follow your dreams. It’s never too late for a new beginning. Talk to God and trust in Him to guide you. Walk by faith, not sight, and soon the sparkle in your eyes will return for good!
