I don’t know if I can pull it off! Those were my thoughts when confronted with producing my first-ever event. I was only twenty-three and had little money, no knowledge, or a playbook. All I had was a vision, passion, and faith. I could hear the words of Jesus to Peter when he commanded him to get out of the boat and come to him.
Peter first had success, but when he took his eyes off of Jesus, he became afraid and began to sink! Jesus said, “Ye of little faith, why did you doubt?” How many books have never been written or dreams that died because of being afraid? I carry a rock in my pocket as a reminder. A reminder that I can be dumb as this rock at times. But with Jesus, I can do the impossible.
My witness to who Jesus is comes from getting out of the boat, looking fear in the face, and commanding it to leave. Jesus has never let me down. He breathed life into me when I needed inspiration or motivation to get off my butt and get active. Jesus is calling me, and you, to get out of the boat and trust him. Trust Him for the solutions to your financial problems. Trust Him for your relationship mending. Trust Him in everything, and you will not sink or be afraid. When you walk in His perfect path, this is your time for success with Jesus.
Experience taught me that when I trust Jesus, he inspires me to persevere. He inspires me with ideas, and most of all, He is with me through completion, keeping me focused on my goals. He will do the same thing for you, so get out of the boat and start walking on water, and don’t be afraid; He has your back!

I really needed to read this today. It really spoke to my heart. Now I will just have to ask God to grant me the faith and patience to allow Him to work in my behalf.
